The mission statement of Gainesville Church of God is:

        1. To Acknowledge, Declare and Worship Jesus Christ as:

                 A. The One and Only Savior of Man

                 B.  Lord of Heaven and Earth

        2. To Communicate the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ

        3. To Fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ

This we will do in His Name by the Power and Direction of His Holy Spirit.

        AFFIRM THE PAST - We will hold to the foundation of God's Word. 

We will build upon the original purpose of the Lord Jesus Christ when He

had Gainesville Church of God planted.  We will Recognize and Honor with

great appreciation the labor of love of those who have served the Lord at

Gainesville Church of God.  We will discard the traditions and philosophies

of man.

ACTUALIZE THE PRESENT - We will face the realities of our day by asking

hard, pertinent questions.  Where are we now? Where are we going?

What do we have? What do we need?

ANTICIPATE THE FUTURE - We will Embrace all the things the Lord has

Prepared for us.  Looking unto Jesus with great Anticipation.  Willing to

go to the next level as the Lord leads.
